    I remember thinking it was a painful situation at the time. I looked back at the stats from that season and I was surprised Warren actually had significantly more carries than David. It appears that it was David’s second year where he really took over as the lead back and Warren’s YPC dropped.

    Not much talk about Jayden Jackson. Kind of our forgotten freshman RB. He was a late add to the class and wasn’t an early enrollee. His highlights look like the real deal. I like his ability to follow his blocks and his physicality. Bigger back. Our RB room is loaded with talent.

    I think having a new RB coach this year could shake things up a little. It will be interesting to see what traits he values.

    I thought Sama made significant improvement as the season went on last year. He found out that his coach was not going to play him unless he hit the hole and he ran North and South. It took him a while but he learned from it. I really liked Hansen last year and I expect him to be even better...

    He definitely needs to improve his handles if that is his future. I’ve been impressed with his court vision and his pace, but it seems he would be a much better SG. He got a lot of playing time in key moments yesterday. That has to be encouraging.

    Pleta also played on the U20 German National team. In those games he played the 5 similar to the way we use our post players. Lots of high pick and rolls.

    We need someone to elevate their game to All American status. The best teams have a guy that is best player on the court every night. One of our studs needs to become that guy.

    Interesting that the Nuggets are playing Curtis Jones at PG primary in the two games I have watched. He had 10 points tonight but their summer league team would benefit from getting him more shots. They haves some chuckers.
