4.84 yards per carry is not so good in college... That would not be top 100 this year in yards per carry... #100 is 5.26.
They had him ranked, I read the original article linked in this one and they basically said we think he's going way up with more time.
I agree with most of what you said. My point is a good scheme and good wr coaching creates favorable matchups and puts players in the best possible position... our O - coordinator keeps doing whats not working...
Before our game I watched the Ohio State - Nebraska game... Ohio State ran route...
100% there's something off with the scheme. Teams are able to scheme receivers wide open all over the country, but for some reason we fail in this area...
but Breece has been awesome and he has been able to be effective even tho we are inconsistent in the passing game...
I just landed and read this. Hall is picked as a "star of the weekend". I checked the rankings and he was #20 on the preseason list. He has to be Top 5 when they update right???
Ticks me off, we could have won that game comfortably with a better passing attack...
Purdy does have good feet, which is why when the line plays poorly it messes him up. His base is a lot of what he is doing but when he cannot get that front foot down it makes things tough for him. (Any QB for that matter).
Nice breakdown of the game.
My take: Their defense has been good so far this year, but I think Hall will make some plays for us this game and set the tone. In the end Purdy is better than whoever they play at QB and that will be the difference.
Here's the link...
Bailey has had a good career, and McDonald is producing consistently at a young age. My thought was Bailey should be higher as well...
But then I thought McDonald is a sophomore still and already doing this well. I guess to each their own.
See I can forgive that, you at one point had other teams ranked that hadn't played yet but you have an expectation for. I cannot forgive having Oklahoma, who we just beat and who has more losses than us ahead of us...
