How many shots did ISU miss? How many turnovers? I would say those are greater than the bad calls made. Didn't LW miss the front end of a 1-1 before KST hit the game winner? Why isn't LW directly to blame? **** happens in games and life. You find a way in spite of it.

Bad out of bounds call? That sucks but make your free throws and it doesn't matter.

Completely agree with both of those points. Also think it's a tad ignorant to ignore the pathetic excuse for officiating that was to our detriment don't you think?
The officials were awful. It went both ways. LW missed his free throws. From afar, he looks like the problem.

Winners win and losers lose. I don't care how bad the officiating was. Good teams find a way. You think Georges, Naz, or Monte let us lose that game? Hell no. We need a vocal leader right now and we don't have one.

Good, I guess our next game strategy should be to kick any TTU in the nuts. Because well, if you're a winner you should still be able to dunk a basketball or something.

There is bad officiating in every game. There were several calls that went the other way that were just as bad. Take the blinders off guys. Just as one missed fg doesn't lose the game missed calls don't lose it either. We had plenty of chances to win that game and didn't. Was the officiating bad? Of course, but hanging your hat on that being the reason we lost is juvenile.

Or the sport will just start losing interest because it is too corrupt.

It does matter. It is an important variable. And there are No means to show any accountability to those fans.

For about the 90th time I don't see anyone saying that is the sole reason we lost. But to completely write it off and say "winners win" is a tad odd.

I never noticed this until watching the replay on ESPN just now. Brown actually took three steps on his winning layup. He picks up the dribble with his left foot down, takes right, left, right steps and jumps off his right leg for the layup. Subtle but it is there. Since I never noticed, I don't blame the officials for missing it too.
(I tried to upload a 4 second clip but can't get it to accept it) Here is the sequence in a still shots.

first step was off the dribble, ball going down. the worst call was a non-call on the block/charge under k-state's basket.

I just rewatched in slow motion. Definitely three steps, travel. His last dribble was just inside the 3 point line with his left foot on the floor. He then goes right, left, right, shoot. Same thing Mykhailiuk did two years ago versus K State.
