The same number of experts had Andrew Wiggins going to either Carolina, Kentucky or Florida State, anywhere expect Kansas. Ku is fine if they don't get Turner. We have more bigs than we know what to do with.
Wiggins recruiting was more close to the vest. No one really had a clue. Not saying its the same with Turner, but as it gets closer to announcement normally stuff begins to leak.
Let him go to Texas. Or Kansas. Fred will have us ready to win the Big 12.
I think it will be a pretty good battle between Kansas, Texas and Iowa State for the league crown next year. I am hoping to score tickets to the KU@ISU game. I'd love to experience a game at Hilton. That will go on my Xmas list for this year.
Texas seems like the hot pick for Turner especially after his comments about KD being his favorite player and how he would like to follow in his footsteps.
I'd love to get tickets for that game too. I've almost had tickets for this game the last 2 seasons, but something came up both times and I had to settle for TCU and Oklahoma instead.
I am hoping that the ISU@KU game is a Saturday next season as well so I can go. We have season tickets @Kansas but I only go down for the weekend games because it is too far to drive (about 3.5 hrs each way) during the work week. My family in KC takes all the midweek games so I didn't even get to go to the ISU@KU game last season.
I wouldn't rule SMU out. Larry Brown is a hell of a coach and they already have commitment from Mudiay. With the talent they have already, SMU is going to be really good. Turner addition is going to be crazy good for them.
If Texas gets Turner I really do think Kansas' run comes to an end. That team is legit already.
Would Turner and Ridley play together? Even if so, Holmes was already a likely all-conference type.
Kansas has two good bigs and a role player or two to back them up. Turner would be a big get for Self

Oh, we want him. Absolutely. But we aren't hosed if we don't get him. That's all.
If Texas gets Turner I will resign myself to another 3rd place finish. If Kansas gets Turner, we will have a shot at 2nd, if SMU gets Turner, I think we have a shot at 1st. Anyway you slice it, I'm pumped for next basketball season! Is it November yet?
