I watched it all- 5 hours 13 minutes. When Cle walked the bases loaded with no outs that sealed the deal.
Watched it from about the 7th inning on. The gf wanted me to turn it off and was about to right when Miguel led off the 14th with his solo blast to tie it. I told her I couldn't stop now. She went to bed. I got to watch the Twins win in 16! Solid investment IMO

Yeah I'm glad that investing 5+ hours paid off with a win.

I'm not sure you could have scripted a better series for the native PR players. Both teams get 1 win, Lindoor hits a big dinger. Berrios pitches well and Eddie R. scores the winning run last night I wanted a 2 game sweep but, I am happy with the spilt

Lindor is a good player but I'm not sure anybody could have hogged the camera more than him in this short series. Glad to see Berrios and Co. shut him down in game two. No doubt the pitching is greatly improved.
Hope Morrison can get his timing down and get out of his funk.

I agree about Lindor being camera happy and also the 2 national telecasts were more about the country and it's situation than about the game on the field, which I found to be sad

Twins are better team that what they are showing right now. Just not hitting and the pitching staff is in a funk. Hope Buxton can get back soon and inject some energy into these guys.

Nice to get 5 and 2/3 of shutout ball from the rookie in his MLB debut today. Hopefully the veterans and Berrios get a little inspiration from watching the kid mow 'em down today.

As a Minnesota sports fan, I suppose I can never get ahead, just break even. Vikes had a great year, Wolves/Wild make the playoffs. Only makes sense the Twins tank.

At this point, either turn it around and contend, or tank and get a top draft pick next year.

Lots of talk right now about teams doing that in the NBA. You'd hate to think it happens, but I guess anything is possible when you're talking about that much money.

If the Twins can't beat Cincinnati the the White Sux, they are gonna struggle. A lot.

Some will think this is a harsh take (it's actually a little bit sad and not optimistic) by Patrick Reusse on Sano but I've been in the "he's going to eat and drink his way out stardom" camp for a while. . He's getting $600k now and could make millions but can't see fit to get into pro sports shape, which is pretty much his ticket to millions. He's in his early 20's and already can't play weighing 300 pounds without getting steel rods in his shin. :(

Another lights out night by Romero. Hopefully he can keep it up to offset all the money they are paying Hughes, who might not show much at all this year, again.
