****, what am I supposed to do with all my San Antonio Commanders gear?
I got like $20 if anyone wants to chip in?Is it possible for someone to buy him out to keep this thing going? I have no clue how the AAF is structured.
If they want people to actually watch, they need to put it after March Madness.
A second football league's only real chance of survival is to be played in a dead sports window. Starting up right after the Super Bowl neither played off the appetite for more football nor gave it a good chance to draw interest against other sporting events. An April-June window would have allowed them to find more markets that might actually care, not compete against one of the two most popular sporting events in the country, and have given enough time off that people were just starting to get itchy for football.
