I really enjoy the New Mexico bowl, which is usually on opening day of bowl season. It's not real high profile, but they always play it in the afternoon, and there is just something about the long shadows cast in mid December that is very appealing.

Albuquerque is also a decent town in a fairy warm location. The statdium is not huge, but its better than the Liberty Bowl. And I think it should be elevated, and would be an ideal location for a Big 12 - Pac 12 bowl.

If nothing else, the first two days of bowl games have made for good TV so far.

*MTSU-Toledo comes down to an onside kick.
*NIU-Coastal just a giant cluster **** of an ending.
*WKU QB breaks two NCAA season records.
*Fresno gets a late turnover to hang on against UTEP.

Oregon St just faked a kneel down at half and it went nowhere.

In the New Orleans Bowl, The Herd/Ragin Cajuns are getting crazy chippy. Cajun players taunting and playing like punks. They drilled a Marshall player who had called for a fair catch; the Louisiana player got tossed for targeting, and the Cajun sideline was "celebrating" the obviously dirty play.

Meanwhile, the Marshall cheerleaders chant "block that kick" on a two-point try.
