Kawhi has also had preferential treatment the last 3 years that any other superstar would get crucified for. I'm not about to argue against the effectiveness but he has his own set of rules. He'll extend his longevity because of it.

He's the most valuable player a team could have in the playoffs. No one else's best player can check the other teams best players. He guarded Luka when it counted, he'll guard Mitchell when it counts, they advance and play PHX, he'll guard Booker, Denver he'll guard Jokic and MPJ, he could guard Giannis, KD or Kyrie...you name it. There just aren't guys who are elite both ways anymore, he takes it to entirely other level being a lock down defender against anyone's 1-4.

People really want to crown Durant or Steph or even Harden as the best player to come along after LeBron, but it was Kawhi.

I think Jokic deserves the regular season mvp pretty clearly this season but I agree on in the playoffs.

Really it's been Kawhi or LeBron as the single player you'd want in the playoffs for quite a while for that two way reason. MJ and Kobe before that.

I don’t like Curry but you have to throw him in the convo.

Was hoping the Clippers would lose given the rumor, probably baseless, on LAC trading Paul George for CJ McCollum.

The Nets might play in a big market, but the Knicks are the big market team. The Nets are like the Clippers - nobody really cares when the Lakers are also in town.

So much truth here. You compare home games the Knicks had with Brooklyn's home games and atmospheres in both arenas are night and day different.

It's not even his guarding, which is great. Just seems like he has the ability to 'cover' an area. Like how a really good safety in football can have an affect on a large part of the field or something.

It's really fun to watch.

Yeah and this team has no connection to the fans they do have. Durant, Iriving and Harden have barely played in the NETS jersey.

They've got to get Luka some help. In the second half the Clippers just ran doubles at him. He made the right pass, but he just didn't have anyone reliable to pass to. It'll be a shame if he never makes it very far because they can't put talent around him. Porzingis sure doesn't seem to be it.

I also think he needs to get in better shape to reach his full potential. He just looked gassed midway through the 3rd quarter. His effort seems to come and go at times.

Isn’t he 22? Wait until he’s 25 to worry too much about this lol

He is a little on the chubby side. Only 22, must be some lingering baby fat? Or, since he has only been of legal drinking age for a year or so, maybe he likes his Bud Heavy?

Milwaukee shot 44% from the floor, 20% from 3 (6-30!) and 58% from the line. None of those numbers are representative of what they normally do. They only lost by 8, if they shoot like normal (or better yet, like they did against Miami) they win. Harden's hammy might really help them.

Nets up by about 20, 6 min left in 1st half. Looks like Harden might get a nice rest. Not needing him at all yet.

I have no idea where the Bucks go from here as a franchise. They are in a tough spot.

I'm going to go out on a fairly sturdy limb and say Milwaukee is done - and maybe not just with these playoffs.
