Would be really cool to see Wartburg pull this off and play for the national championship. Have one of the Iowa schools ever won or even played for the D3 title?

Long pass on 4th down to keep it alive, then another pass inside the Wartburg 5. Yikes.

Wartburg’s defense really **** the bed these last two drives. Especially on that 4th and 7 which would have iced the game. Instead gave up like a 40 yard bomb.

There’s life though. Mount Union shanks the extra point. 34-31 with 31 seconds left and Wartburg has all three timeouts.

While we're adding other divisions, the NJCAA D-I title game kicks off at 8:00 CT tonight. Game is at Little Rock, and is airing on ESPNU.

Iowa Western (9-2) vs. Hutchinson (Kan.) (11-0)

Hutch beat IWCC 29-28 in Council Bluffs a month ago, scoring on a blocked punt return in the final 3:00.
