Euton is currently ranked No. 13 nationally at 152 pounds, according to MatScouts. He won an Ohio state title last season at 145, and projects at 149/157 pounds in college. He is considered the No. 96 overall prospect nationally in the 2022 class.

With Euton's commitment, the Cyclones now have a four-man 2022 recruiting class, which also includes Swiderski, Rojas and Carter Fousek, a three-time Iowa state champion from Crestwood.
Coaches think he is an under the radar kid that is tough & lots of potential

What’s the scoop on this second kid?

I used up all my free reads and it’s asking me to pay. I ain’t giving the Rag no damn money!!
With CycloneRastlinG’s addendum to my post above, all three original paragraphs from that part of the article are now posted. The fourth is directly from Euton’s Instagram. It was late and there isn’t much there.

Those paragraphs, the ones on Euton, were added to the first version of the article posted also, which I’ve linked below. It appears that link might be from a Google search, and possibly outside the Register’s paywall as a result.

I know we would love to see more blue chip recruits here but we are starting to build a decent stable of depth. In particular those "under the radar" types that the staff has proven to be good at identifying and developing. We're going to be a salty dual team for the foreseeable future, but for higher NCAA results we're going to need some of these guys to really jump levels.

Weren’t Ian and Jarrett in that same category?
Ian was already here when Dresser was hired, a freshman. Jarrett was brought in, and is from Montana, where former Coach Zadick was from.

I think Ian, already in the room, was considered a hard worker and was maybe considered “under the radar” when he was recruited, but more of a known quantity. It seems Jarrett might have been considered more under the radar (but that might be just my perception, since his recruitment was quick with less known as a result).

Parker and Storr had really good Fargo’s their Sr year and were recruited by Paulsons. Degen was out at VT recruited by this coaching staff. Coaches do a great job with the recruits they get at all levels. There are a lot of Carr level recruits who fail to ever win a title.

Super happy the staff landed Tate!
I watched Tate's matches at Super32 and was impressed. He ground his way to placing at a tough national tournament.
I'm excited to see what the next couple of years bring for him as he gets better and better.
Hopefully, we can start landing more guys from Big Game and Sebolt with some consistency.

As for Euton, I saw some of his Fargo matches and he looks like a solid, never quit, keep getting to the legs kind of guy. I can see him developing nicely.
Always awesome to land another Top 100 recruit!

Do we still have a chance to get Ysaquirre from Arizona and or Hagarty from Waverly?
It is great to see some commitments and positive activity on this board.

Ysaguirre, I believe we do. We are recruiting Hagarty, but isn’t he just a sophomore?

Hagerty is a Junior and a heck of a FB player. Hopefully, we are kicking the tires on Walrath who is also a junior and just placed at Super 32 with a win over Griffith in an earlier round. I assume a 184/197 college prospect.

Do we know who the top teams are for Ysaquirre? Is he known to be leaning one way or another? Would love to add him.
