The PAC additions are ok, the G5 promotions do suck. That’s a good thing for ISU…

CIncy can be solid its proven, they hired the wrong coach. UCF I dont care about, Houston doesnt care about fb. BYU is a solid add and national brand. If it were up to me I would dump Houston and UCF and add the Beavs and Cougars.

I don't know why so many of you remain convinced that Colorado will remain a factor. Stop slurping up the unearned media hype. CU went 4-8. They beat TCU (5-7), Nebraska (5-7), ASU (5-7), and Colorado State (3-9). None of those are impressive wins. They were really fortunate to pull off the TCU and CSU wins. They have several high profile recruits decommit now. The celebrity sideline guests have disappeared. They have a lot to prove before anyone should expect them to be a perennial contender in the league.
They saw he was the SI sportsman of the year obv, he either doesn’t accomplish anything, or does and moves to the SEC or NFL.

You have better recruiting than everyone but TT, UCF, and to a lesser extent TCU. Colorado is a non factor, same for Arizona. Utah is iffy but beatable.

If the coaching stays consistent there is no reason you shouldn’t be there, the beauty of the new Big12 is everyone is on the same level, no team is a probable loss when looking at the schedule.
How is Arizona a non-factor? They just finished 7-2 this year in the Pac-12. I wouldn't sleep on Colorado either, they would have finished about 6-6 in the Big 12 this year had they gotten a schedule playing teams like UCF, Baylor, Cincinnati and Houston.

Your last point is valid, the playing field is pretty level now. How does ISU differentiate themselves from any of those other programs where they should be making CCGs every year though?

They do it with coaching consistency. The biggest advantage is CMC and his staff don’t want to leave. Arizona has always been rough and will continue to be. Colorado won 4 games against really rough competition, their recruits are bailing and Deion is very unproven. If he has a good/great year then he won’t be at Colorado anymore.

Well, they already beat TCU on the road, so I'd say it's conceivable they could have beaten Baylor, Cincinnati, UCF, Houston, BYU, Texas Tech, and West Virginia this year. They had an absolutely brutal Pac-12 schedule this year.

They could have easily finished 6-6. It took Sark 3 years to get his recruits at Texas and look where they are. It's not out of the realm of possibility that Colorado improves as he gets better recruits and gains experience.

I hate Texas with everything I have and obviously I don't have the B12 angle with them although the payout would be huge but you won't convince me they're not one of the best 4 teams in the country. Every game matters but OU was a fluke. They'd beat them by 3 tds now.

They won't get in without help, but they belong in the playoff. (just threw up in my mouth a little)

How’s he going to get those better recruits? His top guys all bailed, his team seems to hate him, he’s sitting at 65th in recruiting for 2024, his team isn’t getting better. Yes if he gets the G5 expansion teams he can get a couple more wins but he has a massively long road to be anywhere close to good and I love me some prime.
