Does this have any barring on renieri? Not sure the issues originally but if ono is eligible does that mean he could be now

Yep, that train ain't slowing down regardless of what else is going on. They set a NCAA tournament scoring record and won by 60, but honestly they probably were disappointed to only have two champs. They lose Bartlett/Starocci/Kerklviet but look like they'll be just as good or better next year?
Going to return one champ, one runner up, four 3rd place finishers, one 5th place finisher. Add Ono (world champ), Blaze (#1 overall recruit), Nagao back from injury, Sealy/Ryder/Mirasola/Mirasola off redshirt, monster recruiting class. Just not fair!
He should just sue the ncaa and ask for 1 year. They tried getting him eligible 2 yrs ago so it’s messed up he’s too old now but ono will be 24-25 when he graduates
Funny how the nagao thing played out and how he went about that whole recruiting process.. only to never wrestle there again now. Not everyone wins at Penn state
I remember being somewhat disappointed when we didn't land him, but then got Grice who I thought would be solid. Turns out, Evan Frost was even better than both and was home grown talent.

I saw this too- but why is he in the portal if he hasn’t been enrolled in classes at Iowa state? Couldn’t he just enroll where he wants?

There's always an extra year. I stopped trying to understand it last year.
Called COVID…he wrestled his true freshman year which doesn’t count towards 5 years to compete 4.

Was at Iowa State this season & wrestled for Iowa State, so is technically still Iowa State
