I know the staff & wrestlers are still on good terms with Ben. The 2nd to last home meet he was removed from the printed lineups, but still announced. Last home meet they didn't announce him.
Love Ben and the work he did, wishing him the best of luck in his future endeavors.
Someone needs to find out and report on this. Seems like a huge loss for the program.

With the past weekend has any potential”targets” changed with how the tourney turned out? Novak wrestled really good at ‘97 does he command more than what we can pay? How about Little at ULR? Is Facundo a must get?

Willie is supposed to have some good info this week. I am sure he gets a ton of info at NCAAs.
I’m most curious about Elam (is he even transferring?) and Facundo (Okie St? Michigan?)
Guys I will be looking at to see if they enter are Novak (Wyoming 197 AA), Volk (Wyoming 125 AA), Fugitt (Wisconsin 133 AA), also worth watching the NC State guys as they’ve been tweeting at the NC State collectives.
Not going to think about the Little Rock guys until one actually leaves.
Novak would be my biggest target if he enters. 2 years of eligibilty left and very much ascending

I like your thoughts…definitely intrigued with ‘97…have to think the staff circles back with CC before getting a clear directive on which route they go? I for one hope we can get a refreshed and on fire CC and throw the sink at a Facundo…man we would be in an awesome spot IMO.
Need to “get our house in order” with Chittum it appears and then see how the chips will fall on the NIL Road. Appreciate everyone’s insights and intel!
Willie is a big wrestling intel/reporter. I take his word over Flo or Mineo (just my opinion)
Also worth mentioning that everything I say is opinion based and not intel, lol.
I agree gotta kick the tires with Carroll again. That’s a guy that could take lumps throughout the year but absolutely thrive at the tournament.
He's got the wrestler build, maybe he should become Co-Head Coach with Dresser. I bet he could recruit some great wrestling transfers to come to Ames

I think we'll see quite a few outgoing transfers in the next few days. Hoping we hold on to who we want to keep. Not thinking too much about who we bring in until we see who leaves.
