Purdue looking better than when they had the tree...tonight anyway. Figured they would suck.

Maryland has Marquette locked in a close one. That has to bode well for us in few weeks when they visit Hilton.

It is truly fascinating.... they are in an interesting spot NIL-wise definitely being in a pro-dominant sports city. I imagine it has to be harder to funnel money to both programs in a city like that. Especially both programs that have been as average as they are. But still mind-boggling. Maybe they should've kept young Pitino around to usher them into the new era
Biggest ticket when I was there many years ago was hockey. Now, that is before the Wild came back, but MN is a hockey state and the other sports struggle to compete. Also, UMN Twin Cities is a terribly run school, the whole UofMN system, really.

General observation, it would be cool if Big 12 could do a little better in the peer-to-peer matchups or high-level games.

KU has done well, but that's about it.

I realize we're only two weeks in, and I-State hasn't played anyone of substance.

Iowa should play all their games at this arena.
Actually, Iowa should play all of their home games at City High School (with only the lower level bleachers pulled out).

Did I miss a coaching change? Wisconsin had 36 points with 8 minutes left in the first half vs Arizona? Peacock with a couple of good games tonight.

Baylor won at Arkansas.
