Stealing OU's sitting defensive play caller, when they tried mightily to keep him, is a huge huge win for the Big 12, more so than any bowl win.
A sitting blue blood SEC dc went to the same job at a big 12 school. If you want to see a huge sooner meltdown, listen to an OU Insider podcast where one guy says what a "**** show" about ten times, while the other said bad optics aside, Zac Alley's play calling had the Sooner defense playing at its highest level in 15 years.

Didn't see teh game. Looks like good defense. No sure why Adams is the guy you want taking the last shot anyways.
Wow, that's 4 road wins in the first 8 conference games and a couple of them unexpected. I'm not sure how to feel about that other than it's nice that we are one of the four.
That's where my head went, terrible coaching decision if that was the designed play call.. Adams is a 62% career free throw shooter and most of us on this board have a better jump shot.
KU not all that, but I definitely have thought WVU is a very tough out this year. They made a great hire.
I think the correct answer is that they are incomplete much like last year.
once teams get a little more of a scout put together on them there will be some regression, but they very much look like a tourney team.
Is Self or Izzo the next old guard coach to call it quits and blame NIL/Transfer portal at a school swimming in cash??
Oh yeah, they’ll easily be in the tourney. I think WVU ends up in the 4-5 seed territory.
Does anyone else remember the Duke kid crying that went viral. Well, they showed some brat KU kid screaming his ass off when KU tied it up. I'd like to see the tears flowing after the loss.

It's a get out of jail free card, if you can't hack it any more. Blame the state of the game and ride off into the sunset as a hero of "the way things used to be"
Kansas fans are slowly learning that KU has lost there edge since everyone can pay players. The new parity in college hoops is nice to see.
