He's a good player but at 6'4 180 I have doubts on how he would hold up during a Big 12 season. Kelderman weighs more than Stirtz.
Stirtz would be a very good player in the Big 12. His basketball IQ is off the charts. He also plays 40 minutes per game so I think he’ll be okay with the physicality wherever he plays

Having Lipsey and Stirtz on the floor together wouldnt even be fair. They will be two of the top 5 PGs in the country next season.

Id be shocked if he doesn't follow his coach. Perhaps to Iowa City. Stirtz against Lipsey in Hilton next December would be fun to watch.

Tamin might be lucky that he's gonna be graduated by the time Yusef gets here or else he might lose his starting job to a freshman. That kid is lightning quick with a fantastic game.

Ok, that’s ridiculous. We could bring in the best PG in the country and Tamin would still start. Now, we could be starting 2 PGs like we did with Kane and Morris, but there’s pretty much no one out there that would move Tamin to the bench.

I’d take this Hodge kid from UNCW no problem. Although I do think that our biggest need is a backup PG. Potentially another big, but that kind of depends on JT Rock. Third would be a scoring 2. I feel like we’re going to see a lot of roster movement.

I don’t think we need a star player in the portal. Definitely could use a deadeye shooter and rebounding. Stilwell is a for sure home run

Getting a player like Stilwell doesn't mean they won't add a shooting guard too.

Plus I do think Bateman will be asked to play as a freshman and if he's ready will be that shooter.

The bigger thing is we can’t afford a star player from the portal

I’m not confident we can land a Stilwell type

I'm with you on Batemon. I understand people being gun-shy about incoming freshman but I think people forget we're talking a top 40-ish guy which puts him in Milan/THT/Wigginton range as a recruit. Those guys are generally hard to keep off the court and Batemon is also known to get after it on defense.

After watching his game yesterday, MAS plays a switching defense so I'd say JB's defensive IQ and communication is as good as any coming into our defensive scheme. He should be able to pick up on things quickly. His foot speed was a touch slow a couple times yesterday and got blown by but I bet he can improve that easily. It wasn't terrible but can be in the Big 12.

His offense his Curtis Jones caliber. Didn't force anything which I figured he might but he looks to play pretty smart on the offensive end.

Toure as an athletic point guard that can defend also has a clear path to contributing

I’d hope Pleta could give us Chatfield role, but ideally we’d grab a transfer too

The Texas Tech one seems a little surprising. Don't they have a pretty big budget to land about anyone? Or is he coming in as a backup if he goes there?
IDK if that minnesota transfer, hawkins, is out of eligibility or not. He's a senior.
