Career Grand Slam at age 22....

Anyone crazy enough to watch the whole match? I woke up at 4:00 and turned it on.

Alcaraz is on an insane pace now with 7 grand slams before turning 23. Tied with Johnny Mac.

I didn’t, thought it’d be a closer match but still wasn’t committed enough to do that

The big question for him and every great athlete, will his body hold up for another 10-15 years.

He moves a lot like Nadal, which isn’t a good omen. But I feel like nowadays if you can afford a chef/nutritionist and trainers you can avoid multiple long term injuries… Whether or not Alcaraz takes note, Djokovic is showing him what he might be able to get out of his body

I woke up a little past 5. Suprised it was almost halfway through 4th set. Wonder if this is Djokovic's last final. Hard to imagine luck breaking his way again like this tournament but also an extraordinary effort against Sinner.

Sinner is cleaning up without Alcaraz right now. Would honestly be shocking if he doesn't win Roland Garros and Wimbledon.

I wouldn't rule out Djokovic at Wimbledon. There's a part of me that thinks he's only still playing because he's so close to holding the record for most titles there. (While he's setting plenty of other total wins records, a record at a grand slam arguably carries more weight.) I also think winning grand slams has been such an uphill battle for him not only because his body isn't what it was, but because, knowing that, he also knows he's usually going to have to beat Alcaraz and Sinner to win titles. That's a mental hurdle to go along with the physical. But apparently he won't have to worry about that as much in the next two slams

I'd give Djokovic about a 20% to beat Sinner.

Tennis really needs Fonseca or someone to step up to threaten big 2. Federer, Nadal, and Djokovic had absurd runs of dominance but you always had the next set of challengers in Murray, Del potro, Wawrinka etc.. that could upset 1 of them if they got right matchup or played really well. This current generation doesn't have a lot of threats for big 2. If Sinner doesn't win Wimbledon my next bet would be Djokovic. I don't think that's a great thing for the sport.
