I don't think fatigue is a big factor. We seem to do enough substituting to keep our legs fresh enough.
Average minutes played is 29.9 for Royce White, 29.4 for Chris Allen, 29.9 for Scott Christopherson and 32.2 for Chris Babb.

Coaching.
We either a.) go into a conservative lead-preservation mode or b.) the opposition takes away something that was working in the 1st half and we don't adjust properly.
Hoiberg is still learning. I think he's getting better, but something like problem "a" above has been plaguing ISU sports for a long time, as mentioned above.

Which isn't all that bad. They shouldn't be getting fatigued playing 30 minutes a game. Especially for Scotty who played something like 37 minutes a game last year, he should be use to that by now.

Either do I, we go deeper than Mizzou did, they had guys foul out/in foul trouble and they still finished strong despite guys giving them big minutes.

You don't have a 37% decline in three point % between halves because you suddenly forgot how to shoot.
I think fatigue has been an issue both last year and this year.
Perhaps mental toughness is the real problem, the ability to mentally push through the physical fatigue and continue to play at a high level. Kind of mind over matter.
Maybe Hoiberg can call Bobby Lutz during halftime for advice...
