I went to ISU when Collison and Hinrich were Iowa kids playing for KU and it would never fail they'd have some friends or distant connections in the freaking student section cheering like idiots for KU. Of course we absolutely dominated them for a couple years which helped ease the annoyance.

Georges is Georges (really good), Monte has played great the last 4 games, but if Matt, Abdel, & Deonte keep bringing it like they did tonight this team can go far - Matt & Abdel's "thunk dunks" at the end of the game were the perfect cherry on top.

Also tonight is was going to be difficult to choose a gif of the game but I think without a doubt it's Matty's steal and dunk that put an exclamation point on this big win.

They have figured out the pace that is most effective. It isn't as flashy as Hoiball, but it's what this team has to do. The run n' gun was exposing our transition defense.

It was a treat to watch that punk Mason get absolutely owned by Monte.

Thomas is a legitimate weapon on both ends. Nader has turned the corner it seems. Really understands where to pick his spot. Burton still struggles some on D, but he was great tonight. If we keep getting contributions from those guys, we can beat anyone. Hope McKay gets healthy because we're going to need him to reach our peak.
