Yeah is BP making 'buy my lineman nice things' money?
Someone on Twitter said Purdy makes the least money in the locker room (not a surprise). The lineman's comment was complimentary and in jest after word got out that Trey bought the entire team Sonos sound bars and did something big specifically for the O-Line.

He and two other rookies (I think his roommates) made a Happy Holidays card for everyone on the team. Probably cost each of them $10 and a case of beer for the marketing dept who put it together.

Testifying
If you were to poll 100 NFL fans before the year if they'd rather have Brock Purdy or Russ Wilson on your team, I'm pretty sure 100 pick Russ.
If you were to conduct that poll today, I think Brock gets atleast 90 votes.

Crazy

Purdy gets all 100 votes. Wilson has been a total disaster this year, and is one of the worst qbs in the league right now.

Right? Without even considering the money side of the argument that might have brought a few preseason votes Purdy's way from Wilson doubters. I feel bad for Wilson. He's had some missteps personally through the season that make me a little less sympathetic, but it's HOW bad it's been. He's going to sink the franchise. Seeing the contract Cleveland handed Watson keeps me from thinking the Wilson trade might make GMs gunshy with big contracts for a season or two, but maybe someone like Rodgers thinks about staying put.

With Brock being locked into a 3 year contract at less than $1 million per year, I hope he can cash in soon on some major endorsements while he's still one of the top stories in the NFL. I'd think a lot of companies would love to have a clean cut, humble, good looking, star QB represent them.

Seems like SF's dudes genuinely like Purdy.

I have a football man crush on Samuel so it's cool that Purdy is hanging with the baddiest of bad asses.

Team chemistry is a vastly underrated component of successful teams. The 49ers seem like they legit like each other and it shows up on the field.

At a minimum, he’s made himself millions as a long term back up possibility for teams.
