We are currently in the top half of the Big 12 standings. Didn't see this coming by any means. Impressive considering it is November and the season is 2/3 over, and TCU and Baylor are out of the way.

I think this is being overlooked quite a bit too. Think about it. How would people feel if we were 4-4 (2-3) instead or even 5-3 (2-3). Obviously we have to play our schedule and wins are what matter but we would be 4-4 if we make that kick against Toledo. We could easily be 5-3 if we played the non conf that some of these teams do. I'm not going to sit here and say we are great but I definitely think we are top 50 in the country.

I'd also like to see some sort of standings generator like there is for basketball. Does anyone know if there is one?

This game will go one of two ways... be a catalyst for future success and a nice finish to the season, or a flash in the pan. Lets hope its the first option.

Did not see so many winless in conference B12 teams either.

I'm just thrilled that there are 3 Big 12 teams who are winless in the conference right now and we aren't one of them.

This may sound funny, but CPR is looking better every day. Dinosaur is chewing at the bits, Dana is in trouble, and Kansas is in another universe.

I'll do one better..ISU upsets okie st and beats Kstate and WV and finishes tied 4th in conf. TCU makes playoff. OU goes to Sugar. At that point the Alamo is deciding between Okie st, Baylor and ISU. Baylor will be falling off map with no Seth Russell and a fan base that won't travel cause their season is over...ISU would bring 30,000+ fans to Alamo more than okie st or Baylor ever could or would. Just sayin...doesn't matter where u finish after playoff and sugar it's whoever they want to pick.

At Football Study Hall, they have us ranked at #63 and ahead of KSU (74), Texas (84) and KU (126). Not that far behind Tech (55). We've beaten Texas and KU so far but laid an egg against Tech - they rated that game as a 19th percentile performance for us. They have OSU at #35, but with the game being at JTS they put it in the toss-up category giving us a 40% win probability. The game at KSU is a 49% win probability. Win probability against OU of course is low. But the confusing one is WVU.

They have WVU as the #13 team in the country according to advanced stats. That's hard to swallow for a team that's 3-4, but if you start to look at their schedule it begins to make a little more sense. They crushed their 3 non-con opponents, and in conference they've played OU, OSU, Baylor and TCU. That's a hell of an opening conference slate. They played OSU to a one-score game. The other three games weren't as close, but you're talking about legit Top 10 teams too. Looking at common opponents, we actually kept the score a little bit closer against TCU and Baylor, though we did play Baylor in a monsoon. WVU will be a team to watch the next three weeks to see if they are as good as the advanced stats think they are right now, or if we'll have a better chance to beat them.

Crazy that so far in the season OU, OSU, TCU, and Baylor have not played any of the other 3 yet. That will change this weekend.

I thought it was silly for CW to predict wins at KSU and WVU like it was no big deal.

Too bad that type of scheduling doesn't happen in the big 10.

You think Okie State loses 4? Pretty hard to finish above 5th.
