At this point Rhoads was getting 2 competetive quarters out this team. Now are getting 3. Gonna take a bit more I think to start putting away people who are better at winning.
Yes I'm on crack. If we can get a W at Texas, then I do think we have a fighting chance to beat KSU, KU, Texas Tech, and West Virginia. Assuming that all comes to fruition, then we'll all have to admit Paul Rhoads was right about this being a bowl team and I'm not sure how to handle that.

I agree you are not on crack. I felt with how crappy the Big12 is that if we would have won the last two games, or even one of them, that we could have won the league. No one has a defense.
I AGREE Completely beating billy bob snyder in JTS hasnt happened in a coon's age or since the days of Jimmie Dean Walden...............I'd just like to beat purple Kansas this year.
Would we go bowling if we got to 5 wins?
I was going to say WVU seems to high but it really isn't. The schedule just isn't very hard.On a different note, I would rank the schedule in order of difficulty remaining at:
1. OU
2. WVU
3. K-State
4.@Texas
5.Texas Tech
6. @Kansas
Love that 4 remaining are at home and that one is at Kansas. Not an easy stretch by any means, but probably the softest portion of our schedule.
It's a process.Sadly, I think we are going to look back at this season and realize we really blew it. Big 12 is quite bad this year, and letting UNI beat us in our house is pathetic.
We should have finished off Toledo and KSU last year to be at least 5-7, and we were right there with Iowa and OSU in fourth quarter. At least our under-achievement led to a change in coaches, which was a positive.
More of the same this year. If we finish 4-8, going to suck knowing how we had 6-6 in our hands and choked it. Hope our under-achievement this year results in something positive going forward.
This is my question as well. I would say there is only about a 10-15% chance of that happening, but still.
Nebraska went 5-7 last year, won a bowl game, and carried that momentum to get off to a good start this year (albeit against a very weak schedule, sorry Jared).
