If found some outtakes from the 94 feet they walked the other way:

Jay: Where were you when Kennedy was shot?
Perry: Which Kennedy?

Jay: Did you call in or did someone from University call for you to get enrolled for Medicare?
Perry: I have people that do that for me.

What does Self say every day in practice?
I'm going to blow a gasket

But I thought that was pretty telling too. Combined with the booing this morning, ISU definitely has KU's attention.

I think this is the year they get a win down in "just another gym".

Possibly. If we can get to under 5 with a lead or close to a tie, I think the pressure reverts to them. They have come up big in big games at home this year though.

I think they mentioned that ISU has taken the last 4 of 5 from KU and that no one in conference has ever done that to a Bill Self coached KU team. If true, that little nugget may be lurking in the back of some of the KU players minds when ISU started making their run like "oh no, here we go again".

randomfan44;5063673 I doubt the players even know that. I assume any KU players saying "oh said:

I feel like Niang would have the same answers with Kansas. The seniors on these teams have had quite a war over the past 3 years. I hope it can continue.

Probably right. Without thinking too hard, I bet his best game was the game 2 years ago against KU in the Big 12 tourney...

Shows KU has respect for ISU. I don't think they expect to win every time they play us except, unfortunately, at KU. Good pub. for our program and Hilton.

If one head to head matchup describes the past 4 Big 12 seasons it is Ellis v Niang. 80% of the conference hardware right there over that period.

The thing that I love about this is that at some point tuco will hear what he said. And then he'll be left sputtering and talking about how Iowa State doesn't matter.

What I think this proves is that the Kansas players (or at least Ellis) think that Iowa State is a rival of theirs.
Only a true homer would think that at any point I have ever said that ISU doesn't matter. If that's how you've read any comment I have made here then you simply cannot view comments from an opposing fan base without filtering it through a prodigious amount of your own bias. What it proves is that ISU has been probably the most consistently tough opponent for KU during Ellis' career. Which it has been. Which no KU fan, including myself, has ever questioned.

From personal experience, I can say that Perry, Frank Mason and Evan Manning are all respectful young men who represent themselves and the ku program well in public.

We have had some less than stellar experiences with other members of the ku basketball team, but everybody has their moments.

I think both Ellis and Niang are excellent players the opposite fan bases should respect and be quiet fans of. I know I like Ellis a lot. Would take him on my team any day and he actually has class. Same can be said of Niang, I think from the Kansas perspective.

Agreed. neither was gifted with other worldly athleticism but they have worked on their game and become excellent college players. Niang is fun to watch (when not playing KU) and all normal KU fans I know (yeah, yeah, I know) respect the heck out of him and his accomplishments.
