How is what they do different than what David Letterman does? Do you consider David Letterman to be a journalist?

I don't think you will find Letterman ever presenting anything as "breaking news". He also regularly presents his views as parody or humor. He does not try to push anything as "breaking news".

1- I guess we disagree. Im also guessing that you and I differ on our opinions on censorship.

2-I dont know the rules on that for certain, but I would definitely think that they would want to fact check for the purpose of credibility.

With all due respect, please do not make assumptions about my views on censorship. You may be surprised.

I think we are in heated agreement on your #2.

I like to end things with at least something we can agree on.

What do Matt and Miller push as breaking news? I don't listen to them regularly but I haven't heard them try to break anything ever.

Bryce, seriously? Nobody called Matt and Miller entertainment, what is being brought into question is their reporting and their constant crying over not having Pollard on their show. What are you missing? Come on man, you're better than your recent efforts.

Well, we're waiting!?!

Remember some of us don't have access to Des Moines radio all of the time.

Yes, this was the start. Talking about it right now. They also said the email does match what Pollards usual e-mails do I believe.

I disagree with them because Pollard does not and should not focus on the people casually watching or typing away on a keyboard on a message board. The people who consistently give money and buy tickets are the ones that pay his salary and are the ones that financially support the program.

I'm listening to this and Matt sounds like a bored housewife, who hates the one mom who didn't invite her kid to the party that all the other kids attended.

Let the radio talk show hosts do that instead. :jimlad:

How you view this all depends on what side of the table you sit on. It's easy for you to say "NO production, NO money." It's easy for JP to say NO money, NO production. The circle never ends....Until we win again. But how long is this going to take if all sides disagree. Nobody's right, if everybody's wrong...

"Not focusing on" and "being a disrespectful ********" are two different things. The more I'm thinking about this, the more embarrassed I'd be if a representative of our university wrote that to a fan -- even if that fan wrote a ridiculous letter.
