Actually the NFL and the Green Bay Packers both knew he lied when he said he was immunized. Both the NFL and the Packers let it slide and let him break the rules….until yesterday.
That's basically my impression. I just don't get why they bother with following protocol now, since they didn't the last 3 months with him. I'd love to see other teams get pissed off and start chirping the NFL about it, too.

The fact will always remain that he unnecessarily put other people’s lives in danger and knowingly was lying……. the guy is a total POS….. and I’m a lifelong Packers fan.
No he didn't, everyone around him can be vaccinated if they want. The only risk he took was his own. What if Rodgers was infected by a vaccinated teammate? Would you claim that teammate put him at risk? I certainly wouldn't.

Also, "leaked" is entirely the wrong term. It wasn't a secret put out by some insider, it was known he lied once he was publicly ruled out for the game.
I’m fine using the term “leaked” here because my understanding is that the news broke prior to when you could have figured out Aaron was unvaccinated based on publicly available information. So in that sense I think it’s more like if Aaron was going to be charged with a crime and someone in the DA’s office leaked that before the charges were publicly available. Yes, everyone would have found out at some point, but it’s still a leak.

I do think it minimizes how upset he can be though, because it was only a matter of time (probably hours) before everyone found out.

That explains your continued ignorance throughout this thread. People like you are the reason this pandemic continues to go on alot longer than it should.
Virus is going to be here forever. That was obvious since the beginning to anyway paying attention. So I don't know how anyone can claim that it's "gone on longer than it should". No mitigation strategy on earth ended it.

I don't think anyone claimed we would be able to eliminate it? We are at a 7 day average of >1,000 deaths per day in this country and hospitals in various regions cannot handle all the hospitalizations from COVID. At some point we should (hopefully) get a handle on the virus but we aren't there yet. Not everyone can even get vaccinated yet.

There’s a thread dedicated to exactly that topic, why don’t you ever share these brilliant thoughts there instead of injecting this idiocy in every sports thread you can find?

Of course it's going to be here forever, just like polio and smallpox still exists. So would you rather live in a world with 3 cases of Covid every year in the state or over 1,000 per day?
