I remember the first time I saw that video I was in shock the entire time. I just couldn't believe that there are people in this world like that.
They are the worst. I will be telling my friends from Pburg to be on the lookout.

Yes I know I'm nitpicking.
Those nutbags showed up in Omaha to protest at the funerals of the victims of the Von Maur shootings at the Westroads mall. They really need to get their priorities straight.

In April four of them came up to UW-Stout in Menomonie to protest the deaths of three students in an apartment fire. Let's just say up here in Wisconsin we don't mess around with people like this. I won't post video (and there are lots of good clips) because this is a family-friendly website, but if you're curious just Youtube "Stout" and "Westboro". They ran 'em off!

Someday, someone who has good operational sense will deal with these folks in a permanent manner. And noone will mourn their passing.

I love the community in Parkersburg, but I am scared what a lot of those people will do if they protest there. If word gets out I can say about 10 last names that will be in their face, and I would give my left hand to say they don't care what jail they will go to, they won't stop until enough people pull them off. If they do this within running distance they won't stand a chance, they better stay on highway 20 with the car running.:no:

Don't you have to have wristband on to get even in the town of pburg? I was contemplating going to help early this week but my aunt said I'd have to go with her because she has a bracelet to get into town. Would they just have to protest on highway 14 and 57?

Thanks for the heads up. I am sure they are aware but I have been in contact with the Sherrif's Office and folks from the Red Cross everyday trying to coordinate some volunteer efforts. I will forward this info right away.
I am thinking the public ground around the church may be too dangerous and unfortunately the national Guard has blocked off a 3 block perimeter only allowing in the Funeral Procession : )
FEMA is in and running the show and they have 1500 National Guardsman for man power.
I am sure they will not get close to anything, the attitude of the victims is changing and they are in no mood for any crap. They may end up part of the rubble if the flyer is any indication of what their signs are going to say. They are a very tough breed up there and won't put up with any nonsense.
