What does everyone use when it comes to these. I'm about through with fitbit aka google health.

On my 2nd charge 6 which I think died tonight. Only had the thing like 9 months.

What activity do you track specifically? There's all kinds of general step-counting watches out there.

I've looked at a few but would like one that's just steps, no smart/internet connection.

I like steps and sleep tracking as someone battling sleep apnea.

I snore like a demon, wake myself up sometimes. Don't really see a need for a sleep tracker. Did a sleep study a few years back and am bad enough that they recommended doing another in 5 to 10 years but not bad enough to qualify for a CPAP.

I used to put notches on the old headboard, but that became too much.

As far as fitness, I do like Apple. I use my phone as my bike speedometer and the health app will track my distance and such. The watch tracks everything else for me. I do wish they’d do better to work with apps like Wahoo. I use that to connect to my bike sensors to get my speed and cadence, but it doesn’t integrate with health. So I have to run that separately in the background.

I got a WHOOP through work at about half off. I like it but coming up on a year and a little unsure if I’m going to renew the yearly subscription. Alcohol is bad for sleep has been the biggest takeaway and just trying to decide if I need to pay for that lesson again

Weird. I did a sleep study last year at Mercy in Clive because I snore like a train. I didn't have sleep apnea but they could see where my snoring was waking me up. Had no issues giving me a prescription for a machine.

The Fitbits are pretty much junk. I went through a few Charge models that all crapped out. I have a Versa 3 now and I've had it since like 2001 which is crazy. My wife has probably been through four since then. When this one is done I won't get another Fitbit though so I'll be curious what others have to say.

They said I didn't stop breathing enough per hour to give a machine. It was at DSM Sleep Specialists.

Don't most of those counters use GPS/data to track your steps?

Maybe that but I just don't want access to email/calls/texts all the time.

Fit bits are pieces of **** unless they improved. Two I've gotten failed and it was funny how they gave an extra band attachment piece to be ready for when it breaks.

I am a crossfitter and Rucker.

I am deeply loyal to Apple Watch which integrates very well with polar heart rate monitor strap and the various health apps I use including RuckWell, InBody, and my fitness pal. I have the newest version of the higher end Apple Watch.

Home has been doing a good job of marketing to me I have developed some interest in it. I likely won't buy as I don't need another wearable.

Having had a lot if fitbits I think Inspire is best if nothing else because it's by far most durable in my experience. I've had the nicer, more expensive varieties and they rarely made it much more than a year. Current inspire i've probably had for 4-5 years now. It doesn't have all the glitz and glamor that more expensive, newer models will have but if you just want simplicity of a activity tracker/sleep I'd go inspire for fitbit or go with different brand.
