The big ten sucks other than osu and wisconsin and wisc lost to asu.

A bunch of average to below average teams. Even down the big twelve is better..

Ha, right. Because Wisconsin, Ohio St., Michigan, Nebraska, Northwestern, Michigan St. would be terrified of ISU. Iowa already handled you, and we're mediocre at best.

Have you seen the Big 12? With Iowa's schedule you'd maybe have 2 conference wins, tops.

Give me break. Pretty sure ISU could beat Missouri State, Western Michigan, Purdue, & probably Minnesota. We played a ****** game with EIU and still kept it closer. The only real breaks we catch this year are Tulsa & KU. UNI could beat a lot of BCS schools. Even the hawks if they don't kick into the D line twice in a row. Kicker was probably a hawk fan at heart like everyone else at that campus. [sarcasm pirate] sort of

I'm usually all for calling out Iowa's ***** schedule. But, considering we lost to UNI and Iowa, at home, and got manhandled in the trenches, I'm going to keep quiet this year. FWIW though, I think ISU beats purdue and maybe rutgers out of the BIG. The rest, I just don't see it.

Ahh, nice to see smug squawk cockiness coming back.

I think it's funny. All of a sudden they think they are back to being Big Ten contenders and we are just a terrible team and will never beat them again. Their strength on offense just happens to be our biggest weakness on a young defense.

Don't get too full of yourselves guys.

Every year the Clone fans wish they had Iowa's schedule but can't beat 1/2 the teams on their own schedule. UNI says Hi.

It depends on the ISU that plays MN and PU. The team that ISU was able to put on the field on Thursday would have probably beat MN and PU. The one with the gimpy QB, 3rd string center, and two second string OL that played against Iowa would not.

If ISU didn't have a moron as a OC that thought that WR screens and running up the middle was the way to beat Iowa's defense it would have helped. Iowa is pretty good, especially against the run. They will struggle with teams that can actually throw the ball.

For a number of years, it's a fact ISU has played a tougher sched than Iowa.

However, the UNI comment is spot on this year and should end this weak thread. But it won't.

Last year we did beat half the teams on our schedule. We are 1-2 this year, so its mathematically impossible.

I would love a home and home with Purdue. Winnable game against BCS competition with an atypical big ten fanbase, by that I mean they aren't complete **** faces. I have a lot of family that has gone to Purdue, would love to host them in Ames.

You mean the team that went to the BCS Orange Bowl last year? How many BCS Bowl games has ISU been too. Nice try though.
