Arnaud over Jantz and any qb that Rhoads coached by a mile. Irving needs to be in there somewhere on the DL, he will likely have more of an impact in the NFL than everyone on the defense list combined. Sims over Washington. Franklin over Bibbs.

Arnaud was a Chiz recruit

Not really. IMO Rhoads ruined his career by turning him into a zone read qb. His sophomore year under Chizik was by far his best year here and ended that season looking like a future pro. He had all the tools to be a great qb under Mac's system too. He was never meant to be a spread QB.

That would've been a sick team. You left out Leonard Johnson at CB though, I'd go him over Jansen Watson. Too bad Rhoads teams were always lacking somewhere each year. LBs were absolutely incredible for awhile though. Consistency and development at QB really hurt his teams too. All the QBs did things well, but never truly pieced it all together. Hopefully some lights turn on for our QBs under Campbell they way they did for our LBs under Rhoads.

Developed poorly... Had better stats his one year under Chiz

This. If by "developed" you mean having his career ruined, then yes, Rhoads developed him. I don't care what anyone says, he looked like he could have been the best qb in ISU history the way he ended his first year under Chizik. 440 passing yards and 3 TD's in his last game, I believe 300+ yards the game before that. Then Rhoads comes in and makes him a zone read qb...

Point well taken. Memory of that era is foggy apparently

I like this list. I would probably sub in Bundrage and Farniock at WR and C, but this is really good.

There's no reason to put Darius Darks ahead of Josh Lenz. Or even Quenton Bundrage

Lenz has to be on the team simply for versatility's sake. Could return, catch, and even pass. Plus I think he was a four year starter (and a good guy).
