Honestly, i thought coming into this year that scotty would be the sixth man and allen would be the point guard. And its sure looking like that should be the case. All scotty can do is shoot the three. Thats it! Mcgee needs to start in my opinion. A better ballhandler, very energetic, way better defender than scotty, and athletic. I would like to see
1.Mcgee
2.Allen
3.Babb
4.ejim
5.white

At best scotty should be the fourth option at point guard after mcgee, allen and bubu IMO

As in ice hockey, we had three players who had major negative ice time tonight.

Tavon must be really raw because given what I have seen the first 3 outings I would think we would about have to throw him in there and let him learn with his feet to the fire. I am especially surprised given the amount of recruiting attention he received. I thought he would be polished enough to come in and at least get some minutes.

The first three games highlighted the point guard deficiency. What good are straight up shooters if you do not have a point guard?

I think tavon has a bright future at ISU but it looks like hes just not ready yet. Hes a true freshman and i think his height hurts him. But if this team continues to look like crap on offense because they dont have a PG i think tavon will eventually get a chance, but like i said mcgee needs to get his chance starting next game.

Where are all those people that said they were happy DG wasn't on the team this year? I would absolutely love to hear what they'd have to say. I'm sure it'd be pure gold.

If you look at the good PGs of the past 10 years they all were playing game 1. Raw or not they were on the court. If you have to get a player ready that has no other players infront of him and you have to fill that spot with an off guard maybe there is an issue.

Here is what I would have to say...I would give anything to have DG on this team. He ability to create with this much talent around him would make this team exponentially better. How's that for pure gold. :spinny:

Most people who had issues with DG had issues with him as the go-to in the last 30 seconds. Undeniable he was extremely valuable on the whole of the game.

But feel free to misrepresent what people were saying.

I'd give my left nut to have DG back for one more year. And I'm being dead serious...

We're you the guy that suggested he that should have redshirted last year?

Having DG on this team would be great. Redshirting DG last year so he'd be on this team is not.

What the hell are you talking about? I wasn't interpreting anything. There were people that said they were happy DG wasn't on the team this year. That's who I was referring to thus why I said it.

But feel free to twist my posts to your convenience.

Sorry folks but it was the defense that lost this game. The offense didn't run smooth but in spite of that they were still able to score enough points to win. The defense was a sieve. Players looked lost and confused. Drake shot 60% in the second half. Until this team sells all out on the D this team will be like Baylor, talented but not well coached.

Christopherson is brutal. Cannot dribble, cannot finish ANYTHING, and most definitely cannot defend. He killed us tonight. Absolutely killed us.

This. Our offense absolutely cannot run through SC. It's not his game and he looks completely out of place doing it. This team has 1 too many Shooting Guards and CFH is just going to have to come to terms with not starting them all.
