PG is the most important position on the floor. Look at Minnesota last season; Al Nolen goes down and...boom! Gophers lose 10 of 11. If the Clones shore up the PG position, look out, this team will win double-figures in conference play.

Iowa Iowa State State!!

The Clones can also take a lesson from Minnesota in not to put your best shooter at PG. It's didn't work for Hoffarber last season and it won't work for Melrose, Wisconsin's own Scotty Chris

My post asked you to look at last years stats when SC was playing SG. He got ate up at the 2 also. He's flat out not a PG and if he has to shift back he'd have to beat out Mcgee or Allen. Both are better players than Scotty.

I'll believe it after their All Big 12 seasons this year.

It is truly painful to watch Scotty C at the point. His defense is even worse. My lineup would consist of:

PG-McGee
SG-Allen
SF-Babb
PF-Ejim
C-White

With Scotty C coming off the bench for either McGee or Allen. Bubu will play some off the bench and Booker for Ejim or White.

We really play better when McGee is in there. IMO McGee has shown more effort and hustle than anyone on the team and he needs to be rewarded for it. I do think Scotty C is a good player and definitely need him for us to win this year but he is soooooooo not a PG.

If McGee could play the point he would be by now, that is what we recruited him as. It is quite obvious he was not any better than Scotty.

PG: Allen
SG: Scotty
SF: Babb
PF: Ejim
C: White

The only reason I believe this is not the current starters is the Chris Allen injury. Running the point would put a lot more stress on a full recovery which should be soon as he was 80% for the Drake game.
