Nice. I'm gonna have my in-laws pick some up for me. That's their neighborhood.About 10 flats of Ames Lager at Edgewood Rd Hy Vee in CR after my purchase.
CR Hy-Vee's can't keep it in stock. DSM Hy-Vee's won't stock it. Who are the smarter managers here?
Money talks. They'll learn eventually. Part of it also has to be West O's supply side, right?CR Hy-Vee's can't keep it in stock. DSM Hy-Vee's won't stock it. Who are the smarter managers here?
I think only the downtown Hy-Vee doesn't stock it, which is a weird Hy-Vee. I think pretty much everyone else in the metro is stocking it.CR Hy-Vee's can't keep it in stock. DSM Hy-Vee's won't stock it. Who are the smarter managers here?
Time will tell, but I wonder if release date impacts the popularity. Swarm came out months ago, far from the start of football season. I’m sure sales will continue, but I wonder if the shine has worn off?My Hawkeye friends don't actually enjoy Swarm... They drink it to support Iowa, but don't go out of their way to get it.
We'll see if Ames Lager has a better run, because I have a feeling it will have more staying power than Swarm based on the fact that A TON of Iowa's fan base is in Illinois, where you can't go to the store and buy Swarm.. On the other hand, more of ISU's fanbase is in the state and our collective is run by a far more vocal and local figure
