Not really that long of a list. In the modern era, you're basically talking about Matta, Collier, and Lick. 2 of those crashed and burned epically, but Matta is doing just fine.

Matta also had another stop before jumping to tOSU, so it wouldn't be the same situation. I think Stevens can coach and I think he'll stay at Butler, but if they make another run in the next few years after he's reloaded then I could see him landing a big time job.

I love how he refers to Mizzou as, "what could be a top 20 program." So...your inferring that even though you never have been a top 20 program, Mike wasn't good enough because he didn't achieve the imaginary results that you dreamed up in your head and hope for. Got it. Never mind that he took over a disaster from the previous coach and made the tournament the past three years. He truly sounds like a bitter broken-hearted boyfriend.

He took over for Whitlock after he left the Star. He's like that friend we had as kids that tries way too hard to make an impression. Most readers in KC think he's an idiot. His opinions are so ridiculous they aren't insightful or controversial.
