Anyone notice Iowa's going after another one of our commits?

I see Iowa is now going after Collin Bevins. I hope he tells them where to go.

They also went after Barkley Hill after he commited to us as well.

Interesting how things have changed... Iowa is now trying to steal our commitments from us. Who would have thought? I wonder how long it will be before they decide to go after Charles Rogers and Kane Seeley too? Maybe even the kicker Utten?

Grant Rohach has big time ties to the state of Iowa too, plus he was invited to the Elite 11 QB Camp. But did Iowa even give him a look? I don't think so. They probably will now I suppose?

I just love getting all these recruits that Iowa decides too late that they want now.

Any chance of Bevins going to Iowa?

Jon Miller can no longer cry when another coach tries to pooch a recruit from Iowa. And no Hawk fans can complain and say that Wisconsin waits for Iowa to offer and than offers a player. It was stupid when they said it now and now they will be hypocrites

It's a little bit different scenario. The reason Iowa offered Iowa State commits is because they didn't know if they were good enough yet, so they waited to see some film/higher rated recruits and how that plays out.

With other teams offering Iowa recruits, it is simply because Iowa just offered them. I have seen several mentions in articles (from Lemming and other analysts) that once Iowa offers, other schools take notice and decide to offer too.

Semantics. There is zero ethical difference between those two things. The Hawks are attempting to poach a verbally committed player, and encourage him to go back on his word to another school. It's not against the rules, but neither is what Wisky does. It's about ethics. And in this case, the folks who like to gripe about the Badger's ought to denounce this one as well, or be labeled hypocrites.

If Kirk Ferentz offered up a big turd sandwich and Ken Miller stamped it Hawkeye approved, wsrgohawks would tell us how it's the best sandwich ever to grace this earth.

OMG you all spin it the same way. LOL..LOL.... Like the hawks have never been beat by a better team...it is always you gave it away....LOL that law school has to be sending out white papers brain washing everyone...I think UofI is a cult.
