This IS his third offensive scheme in four years(assuming redshirt) and only the 6th game using the last scheme. He did appear much better this game--was that because he was that much better or was Kansas one of the poorer pass defense teams we have faced this year?
I know(getting off topic) that many people thought our pass defense had improved after the NDSu and Army games--when in fact, neither one of those teams had good passing attacks to begin with.
I think most of us overlook something very important in the pass defense, the front four. It takes 11 guys to have a good pass defense. the four who are pressing the QB are just as important as the 7 in coverage. If an accurate passer gets more than 3 or 4 seconds all the time, then his guys are all going to get open and he will light us up.
