possibly. but i'll reiterate for you. If arnaud stops completing passes right into the db's hands and into his receivers, hits 50/50 passes at ISU's 2011 pro day, somehow runs a sub 4.5 40, and throws for 3000 yds and 30 tds this season, then he will be drafted.

The OP's point was that Arnaud has the tangible numbers to possibly be an NFL qb.

I think that if a first year starting QB did the things that you mention here then they would likely get taken with a late round pick and serve as a "project".
Actually if I did those things I too would get drafted. This is the dumbest argument ever, if Arnaud improves drastically over last year then he will likely get a look in the draft. If he has a similar year to last year he will be selling cars in Ames for George White.

Yeah. I know. have you not read my other posts in this thread? I really don't think he will ever make it. but at least he's not Brad Banks (way short with a weak arm) and had no shot regardless. That was the OP's point. You or I probably don't have the physical stature to ever get consideration with those things i mentioned in the previous post.

I'll put my bets on Karl Chevrolet, btw. :jimlad:

Arnaud was a successful Iowa State Cyclone QB. And thats about it. You realize only about 4 or 5 QBs are drafted into the NFL each year right? Do you think Arnaud will be better than 110 other D-1 QBs in the country next season?

Do some research. Here are the numbers for quarterbacks drafted since 2003.
2009-12
2008-13
2007-11
2006-12
2005-14
2004-17
2003-13

Arnaud quite simply does not have the speed or size to be a tight end. No way. If he makes it he will be a QB and that is unlikely. But I expect him to have a great year this year.

For the record I think he will be a middle of the pack Big 12 QB next year which will be a great improvement.
