Ponder is a mature and well-grounded guy. The Vikings need someone like that except who is good at football.

I made a bunch of bets with my GB friends yesterday and then they announce TB isn't playing. Good thing I was approved for that second mortgage

I don't think it's a guaranteed win, but the game started getting out of hand with Ponder's 2 picks at the end of the first half. Similar to ISU vs. Baylor, if you assume that Bridgewater could have gotten anything going on offense, it would have looked like a different game.

Yep. Bridgewater hits a wide open Jarius Wright on the second drive of the game for six and doesn't throw picks on back to back throws after that and it's a totally different ball game. Not saying Teddy is worth 30 points, but it would have made a world of difference if he was playing.

As bad as he was, he wasn't getting much help from his teammates. Of course, I'm a Packers fan so I am fine with him. Awkward leap by Peppers.

Vikes should back away from the cliff. Ponder is your 3rd string QB, who probably gets more reps as the scout team QB than he does running the vikings playbook. Give him time to get into a rhythm with the team

He won't play in the next game unless Teddy gets hurt again.

Sucks that Adrian Peterson wasted all of his best seasons in Minnesota. If he was on a team that was a contender he could have turned them into a dynasty.

Unless Teddy changes his style soon, he will get hurt a lot. Will he be as effective if he changes? And if he doesn't, they need a good backup.

Also, if you didnt notice, the Vikings defense couldnt stop an old lady last night.

I believe the Vikings defense stopped Rodgers 5 times in the first half last night. That's 5 more times than the Bears did the week before.

I think the Vikings defense last night was very similar to what we have seen at times for Iowa State. The offense is so pathetically bad, and goes 3 and out so often, that the defense just can't keep up.

I made this exact comment to my cyclone friends last night. Frequently the following happens

First Iowa State defensive outing - forces three and out
First Iowa State offensive outing - quick three and out
Second Iowa State defensive outing - gives up quick TD.

No one knows what would have happened if we had Teddy in there, it's delusional to think it would be the same outcome. Ponder threw 2 picks in a row.
It likely would have been a closer game, but not the difference of winning or losing. Also, I think it is quite possible for the Vikings to win at home against Green Bay. A lot can happen from now until November 23rd.

If I'm the Vikings, I'm looking at Free Agent QB's to take Ponder's place for the rest of the year. They need to cut him, if only for PR purposes.

I was hoping they would cut him during the game. Talk about a legendary move that everyone would be talking about today.

So if there is no guarantee who wins if Bridgewater is in there why even say it? Your the dummy that brought it up.
