I don't know what you're talking about but the other day (I think it was last Saturday) I purposefully paused the Kansas State game because it looked like an entire end (probably upper portion) was empty. The place was far from full.

Agreed I've seen it during several of their games the upper deck is very empty.

Wow, the SEC appears to have more basketball support over the Big 12. I'm sure Kentucky skews the data, however with 14 schools, can't skew it that significantly.

Agreed I've seen it during several of their games the upper deck is very empty.

There's no upper deck at K-State. Did you mean oSu rather than KSU? The O-school is in Stillwater, Oklahoma not Manhattan, KS. And I previously wrote that the gym hasn't been full for OOC games. But in-conference, it's been pretty much at capacity sans a few seats (100 or so), at times, behind the visitor's basket. Here's highlights from the Baylor game. Attendance smack should be directed at other schools' fans, it seems to me.

Sorry I just meant the upper half of the arena but my point still remains. I've seen a lot of empty seats in the OoD this season on TV. Maybe it just looks worse than it really is on TV. I'll take your word for it I guess.

On the other hand we have a TCU and only 9 other schools to make up for it. Switch them out for Louisville and the Big 12 would have been an insane BB conference. In some ways it is a plus being the only school besides KU that cares about basketball.

I won't. I'll believe my own eyes when I see hundreds of empty seats at BC every televised conference game. Maybe the purple all blends together??

Not that TCU is going to really draw larger crowds, but this years attendance #'s for them aren't helped by the fact they are in a large HS gym that seats 4,800. Probably will have larger reported numbers when they are back in their own arena. Still though, no excuse for everyone else other than Tech. Lots of good teams and good basketball to watch, sad people aren't showing
