Heads in the sky
Starts only:

JB: 47-96 (48.96%) 6 TDs 3 Ints

SJ(minus crappy Baylor) 45-89 (50.56%) 2 TDs 6 Ints

lolololol take out a game because it was against a terrible defense and want to make your guy look better. (The same D that just beat K-state and held them to under 30 points)

I've never once said Jantz was stellar, both struggled this year and weren't getting the job done. But the team is bigger then one guy. Our whole offense had struggles, even outside of the qb play.

JB: 1-2 in the BIg 12 (win on the road over #13 TCU)
SJ: 1-3 (only win over the worst defense in college football history)

Sorry numbers don't lie

JB never got the chance to play any non-conference games.

I don't want to defend CyDude16 but JB did get a couple chances in non-conference. He looked awful last year vs. Rutgers and the same in his two possessions this year vs. Western Illinois. Also, that defense you call one of the worst in college football history just kept a team out of the National Title game.

Even if you put the numbers in SJ has 7 TDs and 7 INTs. JB has 6-3

So a 2-1 ratio or a 1-1 ratio.... hmmmmm that is not even including fumbles

Here nor there
Stats are fine to look at, but they don't tell you what teams they played against and I'd rather have ****ty stats and a win than decents stats and only one conference win.
People still think there is a difference between JB and Jantz? JFC.
JB and Jantz are not difference makers, at least in a positive way. Neither of them have a conference win where you can say outstanding play by the QB was the reason ISU won. JB would be 1-3 this year if he went against TT, Baylor, OU, and UT. JB starting against MU, UT, Baylor, and A$M would not have led to wins.

SJ did not look awful against Rutgers???? Two possessions in a blow out game - the first game of the season - Where SJ got all the snaps leading up to the week. I am sure JB was just chomping at the bit and totally prepared and psyched to get in that game and do well. Not even a good comparision.

You said JB had no chances against non-conference opponents. I'm not arguing that Jantz is better, I'm just saying that you are not making a good comparison in the first place.

Crazygreg like his ISU cyclones to actually win in the Big 12 - which JB does and SJ does not. Plain and simple

Right, Steele Jantz wants to lose. Are you really that full of yourself to imply that Jantz doesn't want himself or the team he is on to be successful?

I never said he does not WANT to win - with his tool set - he just can not - plain and simple

SJ: 1-6
JB: 4-4
SR: 1-0

Which would you choose to start the next Big 12 game??

Not Barnett or Jantz. For all the bashing you do on Jantz, it's rather entertaining you can't admit Barnett has not been getting the job done this year... I can admit Jantz hasn't been doing stellar either.

I'll await till you actually can grasp a sense of reality.

1) Records don't always tell the story, otherwise you start Matt Schaub over Drew Brees, Tom Brady, and Aaron Rodgers.

2) I know you edited it, but well done with the math on your ratios.

3) I'm not saying Steele or JB....does it really mater? Sam is the starter now, what does anyone get by "proving" that one or the other of these guys is worse?

You gotta love a kid like Jared. He goes from starter to 3rd string and yet every time you see him on the sidelines he has his headset on, smiling and congratulating the other quarterbacks coming off the field. He may not be the starter but he is helping in anyway he can to make this team better. Thats cyclone football and why I love this team.

I agree. He seems like a good kid. If Sam does seize the position, I hope he is open to a position switch.

LunaticGreg just has it out for Jantz. He must have kicked his dog. I would say hooked up with his gf, but by his posts, I don't see him having a gf is even remotely possible

Greg has a lovely wife and kid.

He may have a slightly irrational hatred of Jantz but that doesn't make him a bad person.

I don't care who starts, I just want some wins.
