Since this looks much more like a personal favorites then a legitimate best of all time, here are a few I love.

For Beatles, I'll go with Rubber Soul or Revolver...that's when I feel they were at their best.

Sticky Fingers from the Stones and Led Zeppelin IV and II are tough to beat...packed with great songs from beginning to end

For any of you that are listing Beatles albums, check out the self-titled album by Good Old War, released in 2008. I swear, it's like The Beatles re-incarnated. If they were to release an album today, I'm confident that this is what it would sound like.

I challenge anyone to name a better live album than Neil Young "Live at Massey Hall".

On the road...
People don't know real hip hop if they are putting Kanye West as their favorite albums...

My favorite hip hop album... none other than NaS - "Illmatic" from 1994

My favorite album of all time... I'm torn between Pink Floyd "Meddle" and Pink Floyd "Dark Side of the Moon"

I find it funny that a kid that is at the most 20 is telling us that people that like Kanye don't know hip-hop. Judging by your 2012 grad timeline you were 4 years old when that Nas' album came out. Don't tell me you know "real hip-hip."

So by this thought process, since I'm 27, I shouldn't be able to know that The Beatles and Elvis are real Rock & Roll?

I'm 21 actually and am a year behind in schooling. I started listening to hip hop in 1997 so is it so hard to believe that I would know of an album 3 years old at the time I got introduced to the genre? Also I have 2 older brothers (born in 84 and 85) that listened to hip hop in the 90s so I got plenty acquainted to hip hop through them. I consider myself a hip hop junkie and love the genre so I have accumulated a lot of older rap over the years.

I know kids my age that have more knowledge of classic rock than my parents, so I don't think it's all that hard to believe that I know what I'm talking about when it comes to hip hop.
