Don't know if this has been posted before:

Which Cyclone got you the most excited for a dunk?

Tops in my book would be:

1. Fizer (The Mihm Facial)
2. Cato (Countless Ally-oop grunts with a rim rattler.)
3. Rashon Clark (Uh, "The Virginia Game" on Big Monday.)

Explain:

Why was he the best? Most frequent dunker? Style-emotion? You just really hated Chris Mihm? Game changer? Not a big dunker...but when he did the crowd took notice?

Not a problem with any of those, but you can't leave Jeff Grayer off the list. Probably had the best Clone dunk of all time........

Some of the dunks Gilstrap and had this year were up there in terms of "best" that I've seen.

my personal favorites - [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8wlzPP_tFZU]YouTube - Iowa State's Marquis Gilstrap Dunks Twice on Kansas' Cole Aldrich[/ame] and [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rGObSeAKLEQ&feature=related]YouTube - Marquis Gilstrap Dunk vs. Chicago State[/ame]

Cato's dunk happy-game @ Iowa was sweet too. Jacy would just set it up perfect for it all to go down.

Not to mention Jess Settles' 7 pump fakes under the hoop....only to have Cato just stare at him and just denied it easily every time. Heck, one got denied all the way to the midcourt. Ha....Jess Settles...that guy blew.

Fizers dunk over Mihm was the best of all time. It sticks with you.

Clark would come in second and the rest...who really cares. They were cool at the time, but you move on in life.

Fizer was EASILY the best....he would just work people and have a "hammer-dunk" over a big crowd in the lane. The man was un-real in college.

I was sitting right behind the basket when Fizer dunked on a fast break. Granted he grabbed the rim, his feet still hit the back of the backboard. Gotta go with Fizer. Not only that, but his stare downs after dunking on someone were the best.

Fizer video...it's grainy but works.

I was at that game and still get goosebumps everytime I see that dunk. We could all argue which is the best pure dunk (or dunker) but it's hard to argue that Fizer's dunk over Mihm is the most memorable (possibly important) dunk in ISU history.

Elmer Robinson dunk in the Michigan game that got ISU to the '86 Sweet Sixteen.

Sam Mack's season of dunks in 88-89...prior to visiting the Burger King.

Blalock's reverse dunk was pretty sweet...especially coming from a point guard. Can't find a video. I think he got a technical foul for it too...hanging on the rim too long, maybe?

I think it's gotta be Cato. There isn't one that stands out but just his long arms made every dunk seem monster.

Yeah, that's true....plus he would always be screaming....making it more emphatic. For me it is really tough to pick between Cato and Fizer. I was at ISU when Fizer was running the show in 2000, thus he got the nod for me. He just had "hammer dunks" over people so many times....and that always got the crowd going. I guess I like angry dunks.

Clark was awesome....but was just flashy....hey, if you like flashy...more power to ya.

When Fizer dunked....I never heard Hilton louder.
