This was always going to be the final result. The Big 12 has them legally cornered.

Go ahead and inject Texas at Houston into my veins

He has a lot of followers but I'm not believing anything until that's confirmed. Literally anything could happen in the next 3 offseasons lol

I believe it. The SEC took OU & Texas because they thought there would be a 12-team playoff. Now there is doubt CFB moves from a 4-team playoff format for at least a couple years, the money probably doesn't make sense short-term.

Afterall, ESPN was willing to give the SEC the big bucks even before OU/UT agreed to join. Adding OU & UT to the SEC just increases the odds of Bama, GA, Florida, LSU, A&M, etc. having a 2 loss season and missing out on the 4 team playoff $.

I believe Texas and OU have lost their conference voting rights. Could the Big 12 vote to reduce their revenue share?
They will to get what’s owed.

The entertainment is that OuT fans are sure the Big 12 will fold and settle.

Why the **** would we settle? There’s more value for the new conference to have everyone play OuT for several years. Particularly these versions of OuT. Best case scenario is 3 or 4 years of OuT being in the new Big 12 but not winning

I truly hope the Big 8/9/12 members make all OU and Texas teams beg for mercy during the next few seasons.

Damage their brands as much as possible on the way out.

Not exactly sure.
Wonder if this is a cop out and OuT are wanting to see if they can fix themselves in the big XII before going SEC?
