Yes, there record as of now is 7 - 0 and should win the BIG 10 West. :spinny:
However I don't think they will win the BIG 10 Conference Championship against either Ohio or Michigan State. :biglaugh:
Until then statistically they have a "chance".:nah:

I want Nebraska, Colorado, Missouri and Texas A&M back, plus TCU, WVU, Lou and BYU. That'd be a fantastic super conference.
I'd prefer Memphis and Cincinnati to any of the traitors. It would help us have two clear divisions, ISU, KSU KU, UWV, Memphis, Cincinnati in the North and all Texas and Oklahoma schools in the South. Would open a larger market for recruits to the East for us in Ohio and in Tennessee, Reduce travel time except for the rotating 3 schools we would play every other year from the opposite division. Also would increase the strength of schedule for MBB and WBB.

While I agree with adding Memphis not so sure about Cincinnati. I think BYU would add more to the TV market and would have more of a national appeal although the Cincinnati TV market is pretty large but I think BYU would be a better choice although they are kind of stuck out there in the west. I don't think they would divide up the divisions like you say... Don't get me wrong I would love for Iowa State to be in a division like you pointed out however that might be even worse than the big 10 W. and wouldn't even be as good as the old big 12 N. no the big 12 wouldn't do that they wouldn't have it that lopsided and I realize travel is a consideration but you have to balance out the divisions a little bit.

A yeah ago I pretty much assumed the idea of adding Memphis to the conference was kind of a joke. Since then I've warmed up to the idea a fair bit.
The return to regional rivalries would return sanity to college football. If everyone made the same money and had the same shot at the title, I would think it could be done. It would be the equivalent of Iowa football getting rid of conferences and moving to the district system. If the conferences can't work this out equitably, then screw 'em. Remove the conference affiliation in football and let the Presidents, ADs, and television partners work it out on their own. There's got to be a way to draw a line around 64 (or 72) universities, pool the inventory from all the teams, and split the money from television partners equally.

Clemson still has to take out FSU who only has the one loss. It will be interesting to watch. There's a lot of football left.
Not that useful of information, it just shows the ratings for ESPN college football in certain markets. That could vary a lot just based on who is playing. I imagine the Memphis-Ole Miss game killed the ratings in the city of Memphis but a big chunk of that was Ole Miss fans (a lot of graduates live in Memphis) and more of that could be Tennessee fans watching their games or other SEC games as well.

No, that tweet is misleading, like most of Rovell's crap. "Rating" has nothing to do with market size.
Dallas is the #5 market by size in the country. That is the Big XII's biggest market.
What that tweet is saying is ESPN games are attracting 4.3% of the potential audience in Memphis.
Atlanta, with only a 3.3 rating, is actually a pulling many many more eyeballs than Memphis. Even with a lower "rating." 3.3 in ATL is a bigger number than 4.3 in Memphis.
Also, those people in Memphis.....they aren't watching Memphis.

Don't see them keeping all Texas and OK schools together in one division if we had Memphis and Cinn join. Could see eastern schools WVU, Cinn and Memphis with TEXAS, OU and OSU and others (ISU, KU, TT, TCU KSU and Baylor) in a division.

Just for the hell of it here's a run at it. Parentheticals are permanent crossover opponents. Play the 5 in your division, the permanent crossover, and 3 of the other 5 teams in the other division every year.

I know the geography doesn't line up quite right but it's hard to get 2 Texas schools in each division, which I think would be key just like the Pac-12 did for recruiting.
Remember these are just espn ratings so since big 12 has a lot of games on fox am sure Dallas for example tops the fox ratings markets. But shows the value of adding Memphis to the big 12 market as they are big college football fans. And a great recruiting area.
