This is why I stay off CF after a loss. You get a bunch of negative Nancies that over dramatize things. ISUFan22 was the only level headed poster.

Someone give me a rundown on what last years team was like, I've forgotten.

People who make definitive/meltdown statements about sports never seem to grasp that they could end lookng like

Thanks iastatehunter and isufan22. Love when these negative over dramatic babies get called out. Unfortunately they're the same people time and time and it gets really old. You'd think they would eventually learn their lesson. Sucks to suck haters.

What's the saying...hindsight is 20/20. Last time I checked this is the United States of America...if people want to post their goofy thoughts right after a loss...they have every right. And of course...when it turns out poorly for them, it's easy to jump all over their cases about it...but I'm sure many of you thought the same things those posters did right after the loss...you were just smart not to post it.

It's funny FINAL42b liked your post. That dude jumps overboard at the first sign of trouble.

Unfortunately our fan base lives way too much in the moment. We hit the highest of highs and the lowest of lows in one half of basketball.

No, many fans did not think of all the stupid hate comments. The comments on the team, particularity about certain players, have been beyond meltdown disappointment. From Matt Abdelmassih last night:

"Sitting here so happy for our guys. A lot of unnecessary negativity shown towards them this year & all they did was Fight + Stay Together"

Sad to realize he is talking about the Cyclone fanbase.

We would lose if I always remained 100% confidenet. Seems like when I am confident we will win a game we always lose. Can't help but to always expect the blow to the nuts, hopefully Fred will cure me from this lol
