NBC had the first pick this week. FOX is contractually obligated to put the Big Ten in that slot whether they have the first pick or not.

And it's effectively the same window and the same parent network, so it doesn't really qualify as a hold.

i think sometimes he uses his best guesses for time slots because he didn't have any 7:30 slots and no night games for fs1

For what it’s worth, I have an OU friend who claims at this point in time, the Fox 11:00 am kick is reserved for the headline matchup each week.

Maybe for the red river shootout as that's always been 11am that I recall

Top Big 12 teams are gonna play at night a lot, and almost never at noon.

FOX has no other power conference inventory for 3:00 PM or night games. Meanwhile FOX puts the B1G on at noon.

ESPN/ABC also has Big 12 rights - but they own the entire SEC and ACC.

So the mid-afternoon and night FOX windows are going to be dominated by the Big 12, and the best teams will be living there most weeks.
