An Oct 19 night game in Ames could be anything temperature wise. I'm torn here. I really want us to have a very long fall season, but since we're playing boys from Florida, I guess I'd be okay with very cold yucky weather for that particular evening.

Is this the latest kickoff in JTS history? I don't recall ever going into the stadium when it's dark. Tailgating will need to be lit.

Texas last year started at 7 on November 18. That KU ice game back in 2013 was also a 7 PM start.

We have 3 home games in November so if Oct 19th is a concern just wait a few more weeks. Could be 50 and comfortable of below freezing with snow with Iowa weather.

I imagine the reverse is worse. Some of those games that get over at like 2am eastern have to be rougher on players who are typically on an early-morning wakeup schedule.
