Disaster or not, I'll be there for both games. If you don't like it, don't go... Problem solved!

I honestly think some people like to ***** just to be able to *****.

Like the people that ***** that going to Drake and UNI is too tough and too unfair for ISU?

Yep, that's a pretty ridiculous argument too, imo.

I mean obviously this event isn't perfect, but I like the concept of having all the teams in Des Moines on a Saturday. Sure it's not exactly how a lot of people would like it to be, but those people can just stay home if you ask me...

You can still get lower level tickets from the arena directly - This event is a disaster

Or people don't want to spend $85 for lower level seats...

We got the cheaper tickets and I'm really looking forward to it. I don't understand the hate for the games.

I'm in the crowd who likes the concept but isn't going to pay $140 plus extortion charges for a pair of tickets to have a decent view of the floor

Whoever thought they could get me to pay more than the price of a season ticket to watch drake was on crack. I am annoyed about this game because it is one less decent game in the season ticket package.

It isnt perfect, but it should be a good time. Im sure they will get flooded with comlaints after its over and hopefully adjust for the following season.

I'm betting that the adjustment will be that the "event" goes away.

In the future they need to play this game before the ISU vs Iowa game.

I think that will drum up alot more interest. Schedule may not have been flexible this year, but I hope they get this right in the future.

I agree. There will be fans more willing to watch the other team play out of curiosity. I'm surprised that tickets are going as well as they are. No way I'd buy a ticket to this thing even if it was across the street. I'm not paying for two games with only interest for one.

I'm pumped for this event, there's no such thing as too much college basketball. Sure it may not be a sold out crowd but its 4 teams that care about beating each other. I think it'll take a few years to really hit its stride but eventually it will be a really cool event. Like it or not both ISU and Iowa have positive momentum right now, imagine in a few years if one or both teams are rated, this will be a tough ticket.

I doubt it. It may be a sellout down the road but tickets won't be "tough" unless Drake gets a pulse.

I plan to watch the first game and root against Iowa and then stay and cheer on the Cyclones where I expect the Iowa fans to in turn cheer against us.

Yeah...this is really gonna suck. :jimlad:

Sitting amongst Iowa fans after Friday's debacle should be a joyous occassion.
