As Matt Campbell once said, ******** teams care about 6-6. I bet he thinks ******** teams care about playing a road Bowl game. ;)

Does Memphis draw large crowds?

Ames
If that happens, does that mean ISU is back in play for Orlando? Assuming Houston would take OSU/Texas. Would Camping World select ISU over OSU/Texas (since there won't be a ND/Texas matchup)?
I think Okie St. will be in Orlando. ISU to Memphis is my guess.

Georgia - CFP
Alabama - Orange
Auburn - Peach
S. Carolina - Citrus

After that for the SEC, you have these bowls are picked by teams in the conference in no order
Here are eligible SEC teams
LSU, Miss St., Missouri, Kentucky, A&M

There are rumors that Texas refuses to play against A&M and Mizzou due to being former B12 members.

My guess is LSU to the Outback Bowl
A&M to the TaxSlayer Bowl
Miss St. to the Texas Bowl

Which leaves Mizzou, Kentucky, for nashville, memphis, and charlotte.

Payouts for all 3 bowls:
Music City: 2.75 million
Liberty: 2.4 million
Belk: 1.75 million

It seems from a conference perspective, that you would want Kentucky to Music City and Mizzou to Memphis.

Of course, the Liberty Bowl could throw a fit and tell the SEC to fill the Belk Bowl instead, but the SEC is not obligated to I think.

TLDR; hope the SEC sticks it to Memphis and sends Mizzou instead.

Maybe we should've just gone 5-7 and we wouldn't have to worry about any of this.

Jesus Christ people. We haven't been to a bowl game in 5 years. 4 months ago we'd have all been thrilled to know 8-5 was an option.

Well that was aggressive.

I don't think there's anything wrong with fans wanting to go to a warm weather locale to play a P5 school as opposed to Forbes' 4th most dangerous city in the US to play the home non-P5 school.

As Campbell said, "**** teams are happy about being 6-6...and **** fans are happy just playing in any old bowl game."

At least I'm pretty sure that's what he said.

Yeah, why would the Liberty bowl not want a Mizzou/ISU matchup? There's tons of story lines there and there would probably be more fans for that game than ISU/Memphis. Not to mention the amount of money coming into the city.

So some like the warmer weather and opponent of Houston, but the shorter drive to Memphis. Is there really nothing to do in Houston? Just asking, cuz haven't looked into it. Can't believe all those different sites of bowl projections hardly even mentioned us for the Liberty Bowl last week. Still can't see who jumps TCU to get into the NY6.

Liberty bowl and Memphis would probably not want Memphis there as that is a ton of money left out being only 1 travel team. Probably going to happen though.

I don't think Houston would be that bad not sure why alot of people are against it.

My post went right over your head cause that was the exact point. Selling a line of BS to prepare us for it.

What... in your wisdom... do you think Pollard should be doing that he isn't doing regarding our bowl selection?

It's not like HE FREAKING chooses where we go... Jesus

TCU doesn’t have to jump anyone. Someone had to jump them.
