I agree with this. Why Clones still have a shot at Orlando. This has been my mindset the whole time.

In Dallas? They also represented really well for the 2014 Peach bowl. TCU to the Cotton Bowl is an easy sell...

That’s interesting. Would the committee want OU vs tOSU rematch?
More than likely they wouldn't match them up in the Semis.

Right now the seedings probably would be:

1. Clemson
2. OU
3. Georgia
4. Ohio State

1 vs. 4 , 2 vs. 3.

I don't see a 3 loss OSU team deserving a NY6 bowl, especially when you look at their losses. Completely blown out by Iowa and OU whipped them pretty bad on their home field.
Who has TCU beat? Your conference bias is showing if you think TCU would be in over Ohio State

Oklahoma wouldn’t. Even though they proved this is not always the case tonight, rematches are harder. Plus just looking at the two. Wisconsin’s defense wouldn’t stand as much of a chance. So for OU’s sake I’m going for Wisconsin. They probably won’t face each other, but if Clemson Loses and OU is ranked #1 they might see #4 Wisconsin. Also, I don’t want to see Alabama in if Ohio St wins.

If Miami and Wisconsin win
#1 OU
#2 Georgia
#3 Miami
#4 Wisconsin

Georgia is looking like a legitimate 1 seed

I could definitely see that too, they are looking good. I was just saying there is a possibility of OU playing Wisconsin. If Ohio St wins, OU would probably play Alabama, Clemson or Georgia in Semis. They probably don’t want that.

Prob right, but if tOSU wins, I think Committee would put in Alabama. Be hilarious to see the B1G screwed.

If Ohio State beats Wisconsin, does the committee try to find a way to sneak them in? I just can't see the B1G sitting idle if they don't have a dog in the playoffs.

I don't see Miami seeded above UW in your scenario, and I'm not even sure The U would climb above both Auburn and Alabama. Beating Clemson would be a boost, but Miami has to jump from 7th into the playoff.

If it were literally anyone but Bama they’d be competing with for that last spot, then absolutely. The committee will pick Alabama and the SEC over even tOSU and BIG any day. I can’t think of which is the lesser of two evils though the Big 10 or SEC in my mind. Out of tOSU, Bama, and Wisconsin though; OU is probably pulling for Wisconsin.

I could see them not jumping too. I was just pointing out the possibility for OU to play Wisconsin. Although tOSU would finish with 3 losses in a weak BIG while Clemson would finish with only 2, so Miami’s win over the better team may be enough to jump them over WI. Plus they haven’t shown Wisconsin much respect all year and probably would chose the dumb turnover-chain story the media has had a fatuation with all year.

Thanks for clarification.

If both Clemson and UW happen to lose, that could bring an interesting case about how to handle Miami. Clemson-Alabama-Georgia over Miami wouldn't surprise me. (Clemson's worst loss is "better" than Miami's, and Clemson does have the Auburn win, still a top 8 win).

The committee should be watching these games on mute. Commentators selling their opinions one after the other. I expect Herbstreit to be pushing Ohio State by the end of the night while calling another game 10 states away.

The head to head ACC Championship would put Miami in over Clemson I’d think. Maybe even jumping the Badgers for a 3 seed.
