Badgers looking overwhelmed tonight. If it wasn't for the two take aways by the Rock Valley, IA. kid it would be ugly. Our man Klatt is politicking for tOSU over Bama.

K-State's marching band has been twitter bombing the Camping World bowl twitter. I would be pissed if they got selected over ISU after the gift wrapped game they were given.
Maybe our band and fans should do the same. Hopefully JP is raising his standard and promoting our traveling fan base to Orlando instead of Memphis.

Best game of the Day was the UCF Vs Memphis game. Did not expect that

Those two teams were selling out. Wonder if Frost will look back and wonder about a fanbase that was probably fine with any winning whatsoever.

I don't think they're P5 good, but I'd love a 16 team playoff to have a chance at big upsets including those two types.

Pollard is doing a great job. Not my point. My point was he told a flat out lie to the fan base by saying Liberty means more practice time. And if we play Memphis, they will have had one more week of practice than us.


Its not a lie. The extra practice time is not a zero sum game. I think Campbell would like the longer range of time to spread out practices (and everything else that goes along with them, like film analysis with players).

I just heard something about how the whole "15" extra practice thing is BS. It's not limited to just 15 practices. They can practice on the same schedule they do during the season, but there's not a cap of 15. So, technically a later bowl will get you more practices.

When do they re-negotiate the bowl/conference affiliations? I would love to ditch the Liberty and pick up another in FL or TX

I don't think you are correct here. We will get extra practices with the Liberty bowl. Not a ton, but the later the bowl, the more practices you get

Hmm, didn't know about that. Can't imagine it makes more than a practice or two difference at the end of the day.

It's a solid bowl if you actually get to play an SEC opponent. Has some history, and it hasn't completely sold out its name to its corporate sponsor.

Honestly, neither of these teams look like NC caliber teams. WI QB pretty much suck. Floats passes out there like a junior high QB. tOSU turns the ball over at a crazy rate, and no matter how you slice it, you can't ignore the total embarrassment that happened in Iowa City.

Do the NY6 bowls choose who they want or do they have to take the committees top 11 and UCF?

The committee does all the pairings.

The two keys on who gets left out of NY6 may be based on the Orange Bowl contingencies:
(1) Fill spot vacated by Clemson going to CFP, so likely the next-highest ACC team (Miami) will go there.
(2) The next-highest SEC or B1G team also goes to Orange (Auburn, probably).

2014: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, 20*
12 - Georgia Tech moved up to take ACC's Orange spot vacated by FSU
Left out: 11 - Kansas State

2015: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 12, 16, 18*
12 - Ole Miss moved up to SEC's Sugar spot vacated by Alabama
16 - Oklahoma State moved up to Big 12's Sugar spot vacated by Oklahoma
